This Privacy Policy describes how RunPlayGo.com, operated by RPG Sports Consulting LLP (“RunPlayGo”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use our website, mobile application, and services (collectively, the “Platform”).

This Privacy Policy is published in compliance with inter alia:

(a)    Section 43A of the Information Technology Act, 2000;

(b)   Regulation 4 of the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Information) Rules, 2011 (“SPDI Rules”); and

(c)    Regulation 3 of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.

What does this privacy policy cover?

This privacy policy deals with our treatment of personally identifiable information (‘personal information’) that we gather when you are availing, accessing or using our Platform and/or for availing third party Products and Services

This policy does not deal with the policies or practices of companies that we do not own or control or to individuals that we do not employ.

By visiting our Platform, availing of any of our products or services, you  consent to the collection, use, sharing, disclosure and processing of Your personal information by Diverse and each of the sellers/service providers on the Platform (collectively, ‘We’, ‘Us’, ‘Our’) in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy or as otherwise required by, or permitted under, applicable law.

We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 18 or knowingly allow such persons to register in our Platform. No one under age of 18 may provide any personal information to us. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 18 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.

When you register, participate in events, or purchase training plans:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Date of birth
  • Location/city
  • Emergency contact (for event registration)
  • Health-related declarations (if applicable)

b. Usage Data

We automatically collect information about your device and usage:

  • IP address, browser type, device type
  • Pages visited, time spent, referring URLs
  • App interactions (if using our mobile app)

c. Payment Information

Payment details (card, UPI, wallet) are handled by third-party payment gateways. We do not store your financial information.

d. Information from 3rd party apps:

Information collected from iOS/Android Health apps and Google Fit, Strava etc

When you share your iOS/Android Health app data or Google Fit with our Products, that data is covered by the privacy policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

  • Create and manage your account
  • Provide training plans and event registrations
  • Communicate event updates or content recommendations
  • Improve our Platform and user experience
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. Sharing Your Information

We may share your information with:

  • Event organizers (only for events you register for)
  • Service providers (e.g., SMS/email partners, payment gateways)
  • Legal authorities if required by law

We do not sell your data to third parties.

4. Your Choices

  • You can update your profile information anytime.
  • You can opt out of non-essential emails or promotional content.
  • You may request deletion of your account by contacting us.

We use industry-standard security measures (e.g., HTTPS, encryption, firewalls) to protect your information.

You need to prevent unauthorized access to your account and personal information by selecting and protecting your password appropriately and limiting access to your computer or device and browser by signing off after you have finished accessing your account.

We will put in place measures to ensure that Your information in our possession or under our control is destroyed and/or anonymized reasonable after: (a) the purposes for which Your information was collected is no longer being served by the retention of such information; and (b) retention is no longer necessary under any applicable law.

We endeavor to protect the privacy of your account and other personal information we hold in our records, but we cannot guarantee complete security. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors, may compromise the security of user information at any time.

The Platform may contain links to other sites. We are not responsible for the privacy policies and/or practices on other sites. When following a link to another site you should read that site’s privacy policy.

Note:  However, as effective as encryption technology is, no security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee the security of our database, nor can we guarantee that information you supply won’t be intercepted while being transmitted to us over the Internet. Any transmission of information by you to our Platfrom is at your own risk.
