Get ready to push beyond your limits and own every mile — this is no ordinary race. The Sahyadri Ultra Marathon invites you to take on a challenge set amidst the raw, untamed beauty of the Western Ghats of Mulshi. Run through dark, winding roads shrouded in mist, surrounded by towering mountains, dense forests, and the shimmering backwaters of the iconic Mulshi Dam.
The marathon route winds along a scenic stretch that borders the Tamhini Wildlife Sanctuary on one side and the historic Mulshi Dam on the other — a truly unique combination. This region, blanketed in the lush greenery of the Sahyadri mountain range, is home to rare species of flora and fauna found only in this part of the Western Ghats. It’s more than a race; it’s a journey through living, breathing wilderness.
