Step onto trails as old as time itself. The Red Stone Ultra 2026 is a journey through India’s ancient geological marvel, the Northern Aravalli Range. Known as one of the oldest mountain ranges on Earth, these rocky trails take us back to the Proterozoic era, giving you a race course steeped in the early, mid, and post-Stone Age history of India. Not only will you conquer challenging trails and rough terrain, but you’ll also be running where the Kalibangan, Aahar, and Gneshwar civilizations once flourished.

These ‘Hell Trails’ of the Red Stone Ultra bring the thrill of trail running to Delhi NCR with an intense, immersive experience through ancient paths, mining trenches, and landmarks. Whether you’re new to trail running or an ultra-endurance enthusiast, Red Stone Ultra is where you’ll discover the true spirit of Indian trail racing. 

The Red Stone Ultra Story

In 2022, trail runners around Delhi NCR craved a true ultra trail experience, something that would match the raw, demanding vibe of a Hell Race. Our mission was to find and mark a trail in the Aravalli hills that would challenge runners, honor the spirit of trail running in India, and bridge cultural divides of the urban and rural in the Delhi NCR. By choosing the Haryana side of the Northern Aravalli, we discovered the perfect terrain close to the heart of India’s capital region and designed a route that promises both adventure and ease of access.

From the first year, Red Stone Ultra went beyond the finish line. The race brought Delhi NCR’s urban runners face-to-face with the rich Haryanvi rural culture, welcoming them with traditional hospitality and unique local experiences. The shared cultural exchanges, coupled with the challenging Aravalli terrain, shattered barriers between urban and rural lives, giving runners an unforgettable Indian trail race experience.
