LAKE TO LAKE ULTRA 2025 

Chandigarh’s endurance-loving souls invite you to a challenge unmatched – the third edition of the Lake to Lake Ultra – a mountain run that starts from the beautiful city of Chandigarh. On the 24th of August, this year, join us at the start line of the Lake to Lake Ultra to enjoy running through the rolling landscapes from the vibrant and happening New Lake in the city to the serene Tikkar Taal in the Morni Hills.

Picture this: The first light of dawn breaks over Chandigarh as you surge forth, the city’s pulse fading behind you. The sweet scent of rain-kissed earth fills the air while the rolling Morni Hills beckon. Lush greenery surrounds your path, a stark and beautiful contrast to the urban landscape you left behind.

But make no mistake, this is no gentle stroll.  it’s just a matter of a few kilometers and some possible cramps into the race that the runner is made to realise the challenge of the race. The hills test your mettle with their winding ascents and exhilarating descents. Each step is a triumph of mind and body over the elements. In the second edition, it’s also going to be a dance with the monsoon-kissed earth, complemented by the usual test of spirit and endurance through the meandering roads amidst the whispering forests of Haryana’s lone hill station.

Feel the rhythm of the road, the gentle rumble of the plains giving way to the heart-pumping ascent into the hills. Each stride on these winding roads is a journey, and the undulating terrain is a testament to your resilience. The misty slopes will whisper tales of strength as you push your limits. But oh, the reward! As you reach Tikkar Taal, the hills roll away, revealing a vista of breathtaking beauty. We all reach the finish line and celebrate the togetherness that endurance brings to our lives.

Experience the full drama of the course! Begin at New Lake and conquer the relentless climb through the Morni Hills Forest Reserve. Your reward? A mist-shrouded finish at the serene Tikkar Taal. Let the rain mingle with your sweat as you achieve the extraordinary.

Race Start: 0400 HRS on 24th August

Hydration Points: Every 5 KM

30 KM | CUT OFF 6 HRS
Join in at right turn after Pinjore Toll, at the 2nd Start Line of the Lake To Lake Ultra and savor the heart of the challenge. Immerse yourself in the monsoon-drenched beauty of the Morni Hills before a triumphant finish at Tikkar Taal.
