Note:

Participants must not only meet the minimum age requirement but also be in sound physical condition to adapt and run at high altitude.

Qualification Criteria

Full Marathon (42.195 KM):

Participants are preferably expected to meet one of the following criteria:

  • Have completed one full marathon under 6 hours within 1 year prior to the day of submitting the 2025 registration,

    OR

  • Have completed two half marathons under 3 hours in the past 2 years, with at least one completed within the last 1 year.

Half Marathon (21.097 KM):

Participants are preferably expected to meet one of the following criteria:

  • Have completed one half marathon under 3 hours within 1 year prior to registration,

    OR

  • Have completed two 10 KM runs under 1 hour 30 minutes in the past 2 years, with at least one completed within the last 1 year.

10 KM Timed Run:

Participants are preferably expected to meet one of the following criteria:

  • Have completed two 10 KM runs under 1 hour 30 minutes in the past 2 years, with at least one within the last 1 year,

    OR

  • Have completed one half marathon under 3 hours within the last 1 year.

5 KM Timed Run:

Participants should be in sound physical condition and capable of running in high-altitude conditions.

1. Age Limits

  • Participants must strictly adhere to the age limits set by the organizers.

  • The organizer reserves the right to verify the age of participants before, during, or after the race.

2. Acceptance of Entries

  • Only one entry per person is allowed. Multiple entries will be rejected.

  • All applicants must provide true, accurate, current, and complete information.

  • Submitting false information will result in disqualification.

  • By submitting a registration application, participants accept the “Terms and Conditions” and the “Acknowledgement of Risks & Indemnity Agreement.”

    • For participants under 18, a guardian must confirm their relationship and accept the same terms.

  • Participants of the 10 KM, Half Marathon, and Full Marathon must upload valid finisher certificates as per the eligibility criteria at the time of registration.

  • Covid-19 vaccination is mandatory for all participants.

  • Application fee: As applicable.

3. Entry Rejections and Cancellations

Entries will not be accepted or will be cancelled (non-refundable) if:

  • Submitted finisher certificates are incorrect or ineligible.

  • Incorrect or misleading documentation is submitted.

4. Registration Deadline

  • Last date for registration: Sunday, 13th October 2025

5. Arrival & Acclimatization

  • Participants must arrive in Tawang according to the guidelines provided.

  • Proper acclimatization is mandatory due to high-altitude conditions.

6. Registration Modifications & Refunds

  • Registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable for all race categories.

  • Exception: Refunds are permitted only for serving Indian Defence Personnel.

  • Race category changes are allowed until 30th September 2025 upon written intimation. A ₹1,000 processing fee applies (Indian Nationals only).

  • Transfer of registration to 2026 is also allowed only up to 30th September 2025. No requests will be accepted after this date.

7. BIB Number & Collection

  • Participants must collect their BIB in person.

  • Each participant must sign an indemnity bond during BIB collection.

  • BIBs are non-transferable, and must be worn visibly during the race.

  • BIBs must not be folded, creased, or altered.

  • Important information must be filled out on the reverse side of the BIB.

  • BIB Collection Dates: 19th, 20th, and 21st October 2025

8. Timing Chips

  • Timing chips will be used for all timed races (5 KM, 10 KM, Half, and Full Marathon).

  • Must be attached to the BIB as instructed.

  • Each chip is unique to the participant and must not be shared.

  • Chips must be worn from start to finish to receive an official finish time.

9. Code of Conduct

  • Participants must follow all instructions of organizers, officials, and volunteers.

  • All participants must behave respectfully and in a sportsmanlike manner.

  • Failure to follow directions may lead to disqualification.

  • Participants must be medically and physically fit. Those with chronic illnesses (e.g., heart conditions, high BP) should not participate.

  • The organizer reserves the right to disqualify unfit participants.

10. Covid-19 Acknowledgement

  • Participants understand and accept the risks of exposure to COVID-19 by taking part in the event.

11. Race Day Images & Promotions

  • Race-day images will be visually screened for verification.

  • Anyone found wearing another participant’s BIB will be disqualified and banned from future participation.

  • Participants grant the organizer permission to use names, photos, and videos for promotional purposes.

12. Event Cancellation

  • If the event is canceled due to uncontrollable circumstances (force majeure):

    • All confirmed registrations will be carried forward to the next edition.

    • No refunds will be issued, except for serving Indian Defence Personnel.

13. Changes to the Event

  • Organizers reserve the right to:

    • Modify the course

    • Update race procedures

  • If the course distance is shortened, the event is still considered conducted, and no refunds will be provided.

  • Race entries and benefits are non-transferable.

14. Prize Money – Terms & Conditions

Cut-off Times for Prize Eligibility:

5 KM Run 1 hour from flag-off

  • Final results are announced after verification.

  • Net time will be used to determine positions and prize eligibility.

  • Participants must cross the start mat within 15 minutes of flag-off to qualify.

  • Prize eligibility is also subject to:

    • Valid timing checkpoints

    • No bib/timing chip exchange

    • Video/photo review by technical officials

  • Proof of age/identity may be requested before disbursement of prizes.

  • Disqualified participants will not receive prize money or timing recognition.

15. Protests and Appeals

  • Protests regarding race results must be emailed to support@cyruns.com by 11:59 PM on November 4, 2025.

  • Event promoters will review and respond within 10 working days.

  • Proofs and documentation may be requested during the review.

  • Decisions made by the organizing committee are final and binding.

16. Timing Result Corrections

  • Requests to update gender or age-related timing records must be submitted to support@cyruns.com by November 4, 2025.

  • No updates will be entertained after this date.
