Nashik is historically, mythologically, socially and culturally an important city in the northern part of the state of Maharashtra in India. Connected well by all means of transport (Road, Rail & Air).
Nashik is also one of the Char Dhams and the Kumbh Mela happens there too. Also known as The Grape City and a place of temples and sacred rivers.
The Vineyard Ultra Marathon is being organised in the dusty natural trails through Vineyards and amongst farming land growing fruits and vegetables. With temperature variation with scorching heat at 30 – 35 degrees during the day, there is relief during the night with the temperatures dropping to 8 – 11 degrees .A test of endurance, girth & determination, that’s what an Ultramarathon is all about.
